Walking Walking Walking (or why I hate CDG)

Well a dinner, breakfast, and a couple mimosas (with Mary in the back of the plane, those Air France FAs are so nice) we arrived at Paris CDG Airport. We had to transfer from 2D to 2C (or vice versa). So much walking....no elevators...lots of luggage. Then we tried to get through security and Christian was stopped and basically held up by security because they wanted to explosive sniff his laptop. The rest of us went through security, realised there was no bar on the other side, and returned, all in the time it took the French equivalent of the TSA to screen/sniff his laptop. I just think they liked having him around......

While in CDG we met up with the NYC contingent who had a lovely 5 hour layover waiting for us. After a quick drink later on we all embarked on our 1.5 hour flight to Turin....in the photos you can see some of our gang...this is what we all look like after being on an airplane for 6-10 hours....not bad huh?
