So we sat and watched some prelims of mens and womens. Jeez they go fast....one of the skaters was that Americano Apollo Anton Ohno. Didn't seem to be working particularly hard, but that didn't matter because he easily won his heat. Saving himself for later heats?

The women were also impressive but the men really fly across the ice. I can't event bring myself to drive as fast as some of these people skate..and the crashes! It's a miracle they dont' all look like hockey players...have all their teeth and are not cut to ribbions by those huge skates.

Well we decided to go back to the office...in the next heat Ohno screwed up and pulled himself out of contention for a medal in that particular event. Probably just as well we weren't there...
